Nebraska goes FileDirector!
2008 -The State of Nebraska’s Department of Health and Human Services (NE-DHHS) recently became the second state to put their confidence in Active Data Systems and FileDirector for a major document management initiative. According to Todd Mahoney, ADS’s Development Director, “Nebraska ’s DHHS plans to use FileDirector® as a part of a centralized processing /filing system for medical claims.”
Nearly four years ago the State of South Dakota’s Department of Social Services (SD-DSS) installed FileDirector® to manage and retrieve medical service records, child enforcement and day care information, case files and legal records, energy assistance records, correspondence and any other “paper originated” information. Currently, FileDirector® is being utilized by over a 1,000 users in 42 different locations throughout South Dakota .
The Nebraska project will combine the efforts of Active Data Systems with the Four Thought Group of Arizona, SES of Nebraska and Data Cap, Inc of New York. The four companies will combine their expertise of working in health care, government, document management and data capture. Says Mark McClung, President of Active Data Systems, “Our success in supporting a document management system that provides the power and flexibility for South Dakota’s Department of Social Services that was able to integrate with other systems at an affordable price was the main reason Nebraska went with FileDirector®.” |
